Built as an inn nearly two centuries ago, the hotel is set in its own grounds and overlooks the Ashburnham golf links. Please note: there is no lift in the hotel.
The hotel is on the edge of the Millennium coastal paths, cycle tracks and views of the Gower Peninsula. A short stroll and you will find the picturesque harbour of Burry-Port, a haven for small fishing craft. The Ashburnham is truly set in a most wonderful area, full of natural beauty and steeped in history. All bedrooms have en suite bathrooms. The rooms have courtesy trays, colour televisions and wireless Internet connection. Direct dial telephones in all guest rooms for personal, business and confidential calls. The hotel has seen many changes over the years. In more recent times, it has been extensively refurbished to provide patrons with a first class establishment, where the comfort and personal service for our guests is always important. Having stayed at the Ashburnham Hotel or having enjoyed one of the excellent services, you will want to return time and time again.
Please also note there is a disco most friday and saturday evenings due to our wedding bookings.
Please note: our restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings but we do serve bar meals.

A recently and tastefully refurbished non-smoking room with wide-screen TV, this room was where history was once made when Amelia Earhart, the first woman to fly the Atlantic, spent the night here. A hearty Welsh breakfast is included for all guests.

A really good hearty Welsh Breakfast is included for all of our guests and will sustain you for the day ahead. Breakast on Sunday is served between 7am and 9am. We serve a large variety of bar meals from 12noon to 9pm in our Conservatory lounge Bar on Friday to Saturday and on Sunday we serve a main course carvery from 12noon to 6pm and bar meals from 6pm to 9pm in our Conservatory Lounge Bar.
By car leave the m4 on Junction 48 and follow the signs for Pembrey Country Park/Pembrey Racing Circuit. You will join onto the a484 heading toward Carmarthen. Look for our brown information sign directing you to the hotel.
